HLNY CRC and a team on Community Payback recently took part in a WE CARE DAY at Ashtree Close, Belton, Lincolnshire with Ongo – the social housing charity.

Steve Gilmour, estate services team leader, said “The event was another very successful day with a huge amount of improvement work undertaken to improve the area.

“We had over 25 staff volunteers and your guys to help carry out the tasks that ranged from fence painting and repair, fly tipping removal, litter picking, path edging, hedgerow trimming, moss removal and garden tidy up work.

“The team from HLNY had a section to create into a stoned planting area that was a section of weed ridden strip of land. They also completed some much-needed pathway edging. Everyone on the day commented at how hard your guys work. Which is always pleasing to hear.”
