From the first of June 2014 the rehabilitation of offenders across England and Wales is managed and delivered by 21 regional Community Rehabilitation Companies (CRCs) and the new National Probation Service (NPS).

Humberside, Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire Community Rehabilitation Company is now part of Purple Futures, a new partnership of private sector, charities and social enterprise, which will be providing probation and rehabilitation services on behalf of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in five areas of the UK.
Purple Futures, led by Interserve, the UK-based FTSE-listed support services and public services company, together with the charities Addaction, Shelter and P3, and the social enterprise 3SC, will manage services in Cheshire & Greater Manchester, Hampshire & the Isle of Wight, Humberside, Lincolnshire & North Yorkshire, Merseyside, and West Yorkshire, which together superviseover 36,000 offenders each year.Services will be delivered as part of the MoJ’s Transforming Rehabilitation (TR) programme.
