Our Staff

The Humberside, Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire CRC is a great place to work.

Staff are the CRCโ€™s greatest asset, and the Board ensures, as much as is possible, that we have the right staff, in the right place, doing the right things.

We offer a range of excellent staff benefits, including flexible working and a pension scheme. We aim to employ a workforce that reflects the diverse communities of Humberside, Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire and we are an Equal Opportunities employer.

We believe strongly in learning and development and considerable resources and time go into training employees and developing practice. We offer significant investment, with real emphasis placed on both skills training to ensure probation staff skills were maintained, together with an emphasis on leadership and management development.

Many of our staff work directly with offenders.

These roles include:

  • Offender managers (previously known as probation officers) - working directly with offenders
  • Probation service officers - assisting the work of probation officers
  • Administrators - providing administrative support to probation staff
  • Community Payback - supervising offenders completing Unpaid Work in the community.

We also have a wide range of job opportunities for those who are interested in working in IT, Finance, HR and Communications.
